Is there really free dock scheduling software?
Yes. The Dock plan is free for one site, with no time limit and no payment card. You pay only if you later need a second site, the gate screen or automatic waybill reading.
Do carriers have to register or pay?
No. Carriers book through a secure link with no account, no password and no fee. You add a carrier's e-mail once and they get the link.
How long does setup take?
About 2 hours: enter your ramps and working hours, add your team and send carriers a link. The first booking can be the same day. It runs in the browser, with nothing to install.
What does the free plan not include?
Dock covers one site and has no gate screen, so arrivals are marked from the office. The gate screen and advanced analytics come with Terminal; central management of many sites and waybill OCR come with Hub.
What if we handle more trucks than the monthly number?
Nothing stops and nothing extra is invoiced. The monthly truck number is a guideline, not a cap. If you regularly exceed it, we will suggest a larger plan.
How are carriers and my team notified?
By e-mail and inside the app.
Where is the data hosted?
In the EU. Each company works in its own isolated space, access is role-based and every action is recorded in an audit log.
Does it replace our WMS or ERP?
No. Faber Ramp runs next to your WMS or ERP, not inside it. You do not need an integration to start, and your data is always available as an Excel export.
